Downwell Group is proud to play a key role in the HS2 development near Euston Station, delivering specialist enabling works within one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects.
Project Overview
The Euston Throat retained cut section is a critical part of HS2’s London approach. Downwell was appointed to undertake complex enabling works, including:
- Demolition of redundant structures
- Site clearance and preparation
- Environmental management and waste recycling
- Working within a live rail environment with strict safety protocols
Operating in such a high-risk, high-security location demanded meticulous planning and collaboration with multiple stakeholders to ensure zero disruption to surrounding operations.
