Making a Difference this Christmas
At Downwell Group, we believe success isn’t just measured by the projects we deliver, it’s also about the positive impact we make in our communities. This Christmas, we were proud to support The Passage, a leading charity dedicated to helping those who experience or become at risk of homelessness in London.
Through a combined effort from companies within the Downwell Group – including Inner City Scaffolding, Inner City Environmental, and Inner City Fire Solutions – we donated £7,500 worth of essential items to those most in need. These included warm clothing, toiletries, and food supplies, all aimed at bringing comfort and dignity during the festive season.
But we didn’t stop at donations. A team of volunteers from across the Downwell Group spent time at The Passage Resource Centre near Victoria Station, serving hot meals and distributing food parcels to individuals who rely on the charity’s services. This hands-on experience gave our team a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by people experiencing homelessness, and reminded us why giving back matters in everything we do.
