Ed is Head of Group Marketing at Downwell Group, responsible for shaping and delivering the Group’s marketing, brand and communications strategy across its diverse portfolio of businesses.
With extensive experience in B2B marketing, Ed works closely with senior leadership teams to align marketing activity with commercial objectives, ensuring clarity of proposition, consistency of brand and measurable impact. His remit spans brand development, digital marketing, communications, bid support and strategic campaigns, helping position Downwell Group and its companies for sustainable growth.
Ed is particularly passionate about building strong, collaborative teams and creating environments where people can do their best work. As a trained Mental Health First Aider, he actively supports wellbeing awareness within the workplace and champions open, supportive conversations around mental health as part of a healthy, high‑performing culture.
Outside of his role, Ed brings a practical, people‑focused approach to leadership and believes that the strongest brands are built from the inside out – through purpose, trust and clear communication.
